Now that turkey season is over, it is time for the gravelers to hit the water. For those of you that dont know what graveling or noodling is you are about to find out !!!! May the 1st till June the 1st, you can catch blue and chanell catfish by HAND in the rif-raf around the bridge in the lakes around here.

 SAY WHAT ?? Thats right get in the water around the bridges and feel around for openings or crevaces in the rocks. Run your hand in as far as you can and hopefully the blue cat in the hole will let you know he is there. Then grab him the best you can and put him on the stringer.

 Starting June the 1st, the big flat head catfish weighing up to 70 and 80 pounds will be spawning and running up rivers and can be caught by hand as well. Some boys around here use poles with treble hooks and sponge  for bait. The big cat fish on this web sit were caught like this. Largemouth Bass fishing is very good right now. The big females should be on bed and can be caught with bright  colored Zoom trick worms (White, Yellow,Merthiolate,Bubble Gum,and Limetruese) pitching to the bank and twitching them back erraticly. Also catcing some good fish on swim baits. We have the new YUM Money Minnows, Luck E strike Bass Magic , and Lake Fork Tackles Live Magic Shad.  Crappie have spawned out for the most part and have moved back off the bank into 15 to 18 feet of water around brush piles. The fish wont be quite as big as pre spawn but still caught in good numbers. If trollings you thing weve got drift-master trolling bars and rod holders, 10,12, and 14 foot crappie rods.

 The catfish should be feeding hard in preparation for the spawn and be caught on cut herring,worms or commercial baits like Sonnys catfish bait. If it catches fish we got it !! COME ON BY
